An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts and Purchasing Assistant to join the Finance Services Team at Force Headquarters in Winsford,  we have one Fixed-Term contract until 31st March 2024.

The purpose of this role is to provide Financial Transactional Services to ensure an effective and efficient Purchase to Pay and Sales to Cash service is delivered by the Finance Services Team.

This is a hybrid role, working from home and Winsford HQ, Cheshire. 

The successful candidate will be qualified to level 2 of the National Qualifications Framework preferably in a Finance related subject or equivalent experience and will also have the following essential skills:

  • Some financial administration experience.
  • Some experience of working within a customer focused environment and resolving accounts and purchasing queries.
  • Some Experience of collating, analysing, comparing and assimilating information.
  • Some Experience in translating policies and offering consistent guidance to customers and suppliers on accounts and purchasing issues.
