This is an opportunity to assist the Cheshire Neighbourhood Watch Association and Cheshire Constabulary as a Police Support Volunteer promoting Neighbourhood Watch and providing the administration support.


You will be assisting the CNWA, who work in partnership with Cheshire Constabulary, to provide advice and guidance to the Neighbourhood teams across the force, and Cheshire residents who wish to set up a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme and ensuring that the relevant processes are followed, and registration completed.


You may be required to attend CNWA committee meetings which are held virtually at present once a month in the evening.


You will need to develop a relationship, and work with various partners, including the Neighbourhood Watch Network and also Neighbourhood Watch Coordinators in Cheshire.


Although the CNWA has an office in Northwich Police Station, the role location is flexible, with options for booking on at stations across the Constabulary, HQ in Winsford, or working from home.


Skills and experience

This role will require experience of working with computer systems.


No formal qualifications are required. Being an active Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator would be advantageous but is not essential.
