Cheshire Constabulary are now open for applications for officers of any rank that wish to transfer to Cheshire from any other Home Office force.

Cheshire Constabulary is a good police force but the ambition is to be outstanding in everything that we do. At the same time the force punches above its weight in tackling serious and organised crime.

As a police officer here in Cheshire, you will be at the very heart of protecting local communities, driven by motivation to keep people safe and you will pride yourself on acting with integrity and honesty and have the highest respect for diversity amongst your colleagues and the communities you serve.

We are particular interested in applications from officer with the following qualifications and skill sets:

  • PIP2 qualified Detectives
  • Current skills in Level 1 Public Order
  • Search trained officers
  • Current Tutor Constables
  • Authorised Firearms Officers

Am I eligible?

To apply as a Transferee you must:

  • Be a serving Police Officer in a Home Office Force.
  • Have satisfactorily completed the period of probationary service in the rank of constable.
  • Have no outstanding discipline or integrity issues.

Successful applicants will be aligned to a Transferee intake and provided with training before commencing in their new role.

Please note that whilst current role, specialisms and training will be considered when identifying postings we must also meet operational demand and so are unable to guarantee individual preferences.
