Established in April 2007, CTPNW exists as one of five Counter Terrorism Units (CTU's) within a National Counter Terrorism Policing (NCTP) framework, designed to strengthen the UK’s response to the threat from terrorism.

CTPNW host a national function supporting the Intelligence Board and the Intelligence Capability. We are looking for a National Intelligence Board Support Advisor. This role will include working with all regional counter terrorism units (CTUs) and intelligence units (CTIUs), as well as with Counter Terrorism Policing Headquarters (CTPHQ) and our partners.

Reporting to the National Intelligence Board Support Manager, the aim of the job is to act as Champion for CTP National Intelligence Board, Providing SME input to business change, CT and Partnership transformation projects, CT and Partner Senior Leadership Teams, to achieve cost reduction and service improvements for CT Policing and Partners nationally whilst maintaining the focus on realising beneficial change from project implementation and maintaining a robust intelligence environment. Operating at a national level across the CT Policing network to shape the future of CT Intelligence.

You will be responsible for:

• Support the CTP National Intelligence Board Support Manager to efficiently run the National Intelligence Board.
• Supporting the management of volumes of complex, high value linked process design and change.
• Identifying and Briefing relevant new issues to the Chair and advising Board members as an SME.
• Providing expert advice to those responsible for National Change or Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Supporting and providing expertise to staff within designated Change Teams.
• Providing expert advice and guidance in order to assist successful delivery and implementation of national CT change projects across CTP.
• Supporting the delivery of changes within the National CTP Intelligence Portfolio.

You will have the ability to design and commission innovative solutions to complex change requirements and promote transformational change and innovation. You will need to support and provide expert advice on specific change activity across a spectrum of areas.

You will be required to delivers a high quality improvement management service on behalf of NCTP HQ and UKIC to ensure the realisation of organisational benefits whilst supporting multiple change projects through all stages from inception and promote the case for change and all the activities delivered by the NCTP Intelligence Board.

It is essential that you have a Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business purposes and be willing to work abnormal hours when necessary.
