Following your initial 2-year probationary period you will have the opportunity to progress through the ranks and continue to develop the wide range of skills that a professional career in policing will provide.

With regards to eligibility, you must hold a Level 3 qualification (two A Levels grade A*-D) or equivalent qualification or hold a qualification gained outside England and Wales considered by the UK National recognition Information Centre to be Level 3.

You must be 18 years of age by the intake date and hold a Full UK manual driving license.  Please note that if you have any tattoos, photographs MUST be uploaded in the attachment section of the application form.

  • Intake Starts: 2nd September 2024 

Please note - Holidays during the first 18 weeks of initial training will not be authorised. If successful in the process you will need to be available for the full 18 week initial training. This is to ensure no vital training is missed.
